the Author
Alon Gratch is a clinical psychologist in private practice in New York. In his psychotherapy practice he sees patients for individual, couple and group therapy. He has been on the clinical faculty of Columbia University and has lectured and conducted seminars for mental health professionals as well as for the general public. He has presented his work on the psychology of men at Harvard Medical School’s first National Conference on Boys and Men. He has written for the New York Times and The Wall Street Journal and is currently working on a book tentatively titled “How to Think When You Are in Love: Resolving Ambivalence in Dating and Relationships.” Dr. Gratch is also a management consultant, working with corporations in the areas of leadership, negotiations and crisis management.
